After consulting various doctors I was told that my problem was flat feet. The pain incresed over the years so that I find walking almost impossible at times. I live on duretics that help alittle. I live alone that is a problem wwhen I need so go out as just walking to the car is like walking on a griddle. CURE? when misdiagnosise is more common than you can imagine is not likely.
I am the author of the article - thank you for your comment. I. too, have a severe pain in my foot which has worsened over the years (while various doctors have pooh-poohed it). It feels like someone has taken a blow-torch to the sole of my foot, then beaten it to a pulp before, finally, skewering a knife around inside. In other words, AGONY!!! Nothing seems to help although I am investigating a lead a physiotherapist has given me. Watch this space. Good luck.
